This month we're offering some really great books that were not listed in our highly successful october auction ude to time limitations, etc. We've been egtting a lot of requests to list more great books as buyers were very pleased with their purchases. This month we are offering golden and silver age books. We've paid special attention to add some nice silver age books with 12c covers. Check 'em all out. This lot-detective comics #39 may '40. Onyl the second appearance of batman and robin together.
This copy is in real nice shape. The front cover is flat and smooth.
The rear cover is equally nice. The spine has some slight fraying but no real splitting. Interior pages are off white/tan but supple and the book is easily read. Most of the interior pages have the upper corner of the book wellrounded like they were cut off.
The lower outer corner is well rounded. It also appears that someone once applied a few small drops of glue to the inside of the front and rear covers at the spine as reinforcing measure. Don't pass this one up sa detective issues in the 30's are increasing in value at a rate high above other market trends. Graded at vg+ to vg/fn (4.5-5.0) bids start at 123.50.
